Dr. Metzger is originally for Long Island, New York, but grew up in Southern Nevada. She graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and served as a Chief Resident. Dr. Metzger has been practicing medicine for ten years and especially enjoys the continuity of Primary Care and getting to know patients and their families. She has a special interest in preventive health for men and women, as well as teaching/education.

In her spare time, Dr. Metzger has been a tactical physician for LVMPD/SWAT/Search and Rescue, enjoys Major League Baseball, skiing and spending time with her family. Life at home is busy raising two children and an assortment of pets.
